Justin is a husband to Brianne and father to two young children. They are both teachers in the Connetquot school district. In late May, during a family walk in his neighborhood, Justin lost consciousness. With trip to the emergency room, he was diagnosed with Acute Lymphatic Leukemia and a tumor on his brain.
In addition to the months spent in NYC, they are now traveling there weekly for treatments, while waiting for a donor for a bone marrow transplant.
